Improv is much more than a few funny scenes that weren’t rehearsed or planned, it’s a lifestyle.

It’s about people concentrating on their partners, giving all they’ve got to make them feel heard, embraced and acknowledged. It’s about understanding and making sure you are being understood. It’s a team sport that can function only with a real good team spirit.
It’s about being in the ”Here and Now” with joy and playfulness, about surprising yourself and learning to let go.

I invite you to an eight meeting course in English (two hours each) of “Improvise This”, for curious beginners who want to try something new and exciting on stage (no former stage experience is required). We’ll learn the basic tools that will allow us to get started creating scenes and we’ll taste the “short form Improv”, a format of games within improvised scenes. On our journey we’ll also learn how to feel free and safe with ourselves, with our partners, with our fantasies and of course- with our sense of humor!

Hila is a professional Israeli actress who lives in Berlin. Since graduating “Sofi Moscowiz School of Performing Arts” in Tel Aviv in 2009, she took part in different theater and Improv projects in Israel and Berlin, such as “Jerusalem Improv Championship” (2010) and “Comedy Sports Berlin” (2014-2015). Aside from Improv, Hila was a theater instructor of teenagers groups, and is nowadays facilitating a theater group of people with disabilities.
