DISKURS 15 baut die Ground Control. Ist es ein Raumfahrtsimulator? Ist es eine Kunstbörse? Ist es eine Funkstation? Die Ground Control ist Koordinate und Messpunkt für alle FestivalgängerInnen, KünstlerInnen und FreundInnen. Hier kannst du über zeitgenössische Kunst am Bau nachdenken, deine alternative Spielzeit-Eröffnung feiern, deinen Durst im Bühnenbild vom Vorabend stillen. Die Ground Control ist die tatsächlich realisierte Heterotopie im Herzen Gießens, ein Ort außerhalb aller Orte, wiewohl sie tatsächlich geortet werden kann (50.5804/ 8.6666). Daneben findest du Kunst, Kultur und Unterhaltung in den Satelliten der Ground Control in Stadt und Peripherie.
Wir freuen uns auf innovative BodenlegerInnen, eskapistische StatikerInnen und bodenständige AstronautInnen und Menschen in Transit. Wir wünschen ihnen allen eine gute Reise und einen interstellaren DISKURS!
DISKURS 15 is building Ground Control. Is it a space travel simulator? Is it an art fair? Is it a radio station? Ground Control is coordinate and measuring point for visitors, artists and friends of the festival. Here, you can think about contemporary art in public, celebrate your alternative opening of the season, have a drink in yesterday's stage setting. Ground Control is heterotopia becoming reality in the heart of Giessen, a place outside space, although it can be located (50.5804/ 8.6666). In addition, you'll find art, culture and entertainment in Ground Control's satellites in city and periphery.
The festival and the City of Giessen are looking forward to groundbreaking pioneers, escapist structural engineers and down-to-earth astronauts and wish a safe trip and an interstellar DISKURS to all of them.
